57 Trash Carts Distributed in Tugu Utara

As many as 57 garbage carts are distributed to 19 RW caretakers in Tugu Utara Urban Village, Koja, North Jakarta. The carts will add the existing unit to transport trash from residential to temporary disposal site.

Residents must also get involve in maintaining the environment cleanliness

Nandang, Head of Tugu Utara Urban Village, said every RW get two up to three carts. “It is hoped the carts will ease the trash transport or used  as mass communal work,” he said, Monday (12/14).

He admitted that the number of cart is still far from enough, but his side hoped that it can be used maximally.

“Don’t rely on PPSU personnel only to clean the environment,” he uttered.

Besides distributing carts, his side will also provide hoe, trash can, mobile trash can, rope, broom, and etc.

“Residents must also get involve in maintaining the environment cleanliness,” he closed.
